“Woman Startup Challenge” – The best six business ideas

Who will make the race?

Berlin, April 16, 2018. Whether it’s a babysitter app, designer bags for diabetics, financial advice for women or an interactive webpage for wedding planning – from over sixty applications from Germany and Switzerland, six ideas crystallized in several rounds for the final round.

A high-caliber jury under the patronage of Tita von Hardenberg is currently reviewing the final six candidates and will select the first, second and third winners in Berlin on April 24, 2018. There are jobs to be won at the best addresses in Germany, including company headquarters and office services. The prizes have a total material value of over EUR 40,000. Anita Gödiker, CEO and founder of Satellite Office, initiated and donated this award.

The six business ideas of the final round at a glance (alphabetical):

Beewedded: The online wedding planner. Without planning stress to the dream wedding.

Coralbird: book more sustainable trips, buy fairly produced travel accessories and exchange ideas with like-minded vacationers in the community.

FinMarie: Germany’s first online personal wealth manager for women.

Mindbox: Attractive, slimline facilitation case with clever basic features and an app for reordering, photo logs and creativity techniques for effective meetings.

Mysugarcase: Through functional, stylish accessory bags, mysugarcase makes life with diabetes easier and more beautiful.

SitEinander: With this app, families can organize mutual childcare with trusted friends and additionally discover other families in the neighborhood.

INVITATION: The award ceremony will take place on 24.4.2018 at 5 pm in Berlin. The laudation will be held by patron Tita von Hardenberg. Representatives of the press are cordially invited. Please register using the contact details below.

About the Women Startup Challenge by Satellite Office (WSC)

With the WSC, Satellite Office is looking for female founders who have recently started or want to start their business. Applicants from Germany and Switzerland are admitted. A business plan serves as the basis for the application. Structure, conditions of participation and all other information is available online. The deadline for entries is October 15, 2017.
