Female Founders Award enters second round

19. July 2022

Berlin, Nov. 6, 2018. Berlin icon Heidi Hetzer opened the second round with a vintage car parade through Berlin of the Female Founders Award by Satellite Office.

Berlin entrepreneur Anita Gödiker, CEO of Satellite Office Berlin, is the initiator and founder of the #femalefoundersaward. With her coworking and business centers, she has been writing the success story of female start-ups for over twenty years.
Her concern is to give women a better starting position with the #femalefoundersaward than she herself had at the time. The three winners of the #femalefoundersaward will receive a starter package including a company address, workspace and meeting room from Satellite Office. Consulting services on marketing and tax issues round out the package. In total, the winnings have a material value of over EUR 55,000. Besides Satellite Office, the sponsors of the award are DEBA for the marketing and Consultia for the tax consulting package.

Heidi Hetzer as motivator and jury member

To kick off the new round of the award, world-traveling Berlin icon Heidi Hetzer drove an opening lap through Berlin in her vintage car and then read from her just-published book “Ungebremst leben.” Heidi Hetzer was and is an entrepreneur with heart and soul, circumnavigated the world with vintage car “Hudo” and motivates women to dare to do something. Hetzer is also a member of the jury for the #femalefoundersaward.
Anita Gödiker: “As many women as possible should learn about this award and feel encouraged to take the next step toward founding a company. After all, female start-ups are indispensable for the German economy!”.

This year, the top-class jury will be chaired by Anna Kaiser and Jana Tepe from Tandemploy. They themselves successfully founded their innovative company in Berlin in 2013.

Applications are possible as of now.
