Frankfurt Satellite Office receives ICONIC AWARD 2021
This award goes right to our heart: The Frankfurt Satellite Office has been awarded the ICONIC AWARD 2021 for the category innovative interior design! The award is an internationally renowned, neutral design and architecture prize offered by the German Design Council to honor the best of the best in the fields of architecture, interior design, product design and brand communication.
“We are delighted to receive this award for our pureSilent® concept in Frankfurt – our very first pureSilent office, by the way. We put an incredible amount of thought and heart and soul into the concept, and we are even more pleased that this has been rewarded,” says a delighted Anita Gödiker, CEO of Satellite Office.
She developed the award-winning office concept in collaboration with renowned specialists for sound insulation and acoustics, for colors and light, for ergonomic office design and with scientists from the University of St. Gallen. The architectural part in particular was implemented by the architects Sabine and Moritz Kölling from Bad Vilbel. How concentrated working in a luxury workspace works can be experienced par excellence at the Satellite Office in Frankfurt. The design of the 139 workstations, silent cubes and break-out areas according to the pureSilent® concept is the perfect prerequisite for Deep Work at the highest level – all at the first address on the square: Opernplatz 14 – and with a view of the Frankfurt skyline.
Lutz Dietzold, Managing Director GDC, German Design Council, presented the ICONIC DESIGN 2021 Award to Anita Gödiker and Kölling Architects on 14.10.2021. The event was attended by guests from Frankfurt’s business community, politics and the media. Everyone was thrilled with the location: the almost completely wrap-around balcony, from which the view of the skyline is particularly beautiful, was especially popular.
The award emphasizes the milestone Satellite Office has set with its innovative room concept: The award stands for solutions that provide new impulses with visionary power and drive them forward holistically. “We feel honored and confirmed,” says Anita Gödiker. “Satellite Office has been a seismograph and pacesetter for changes in the workplace world for over twenty years. The award shows that we took the right step with the premiere of pureSilent® in Frankfurt. We are gradually implementing the concept in other offices. This has already happened in Hamburg, Munich and, of course, in KUD15 Gloria Berlin!”
