Expo Real in Munich

Satellite Office and the real estate industry

One of the largest international real estate trade fairs, EXPO REAL in Munich, is currently underway. Both Munich Satellite Offices are humming and buzzing these days: Many trade fair visitors are looking for a quiet place to work in between, while others are holding meetings in small groups in one of the beautiful Satellite Office conference rooms. The newly renovated Satellite Office in the Ludwigpalais in particular has an enormous impact on the industry, as it is designed and aligned entirely according to the pureSilentÓ philosophy. Digital Rooms, Creative Meeting Rooms, Fireside Rooms – this is what the discerning real estate industry is looking for and booking this year.

What are trade show visitors talking about this year? A survey conducted by Messe München revealed three main themes: Price increases and inflation, affordable housing and cooperation with the public sector. At the same time, inflation of more than 10% is hitting the company particularly hard – regardless of the industry. How does Satellite Office position itself to deal with this price piercing? Anita Gödiker: “The future belongs to office space that can be used flexibly and easily adapted to constantly changing requirements. Above all, resources and energy can be saved collaboratively.”

The Satellite Office business model is once again proving its worth in these times. On the one hand, through jointly used devices such as printers, beamers, coffee machines, kettles and dishwashers, but also through clever energy-saving concepts such as central heating systems or automatic light sensors. And the flexibility, both in terms of the duration of the office rent and the possibility of booking workstations as required or terminating them at short notice, gives the company room to breathe and, above all, room to maneuver in times that are difficult to predict. And that ability to control costs individually at any time is what gives us a form of security, right?
