Office love also fully in trend in 2017.
Berlin, February 14, 2017. Satellite Office, Germany’s leading provider of business centers, has been home to a number of office lovers over its twenty-year history. In a qualitative survey for Valentine’s Day, Satellite Office asked customers at its business center in Berlin. According to this, love in the workplace is still in vogue. For example, nearly thirty percent of Satellite Office customers surveyed say they have had a relationship that started in the office. In fact, a quarter of all marriages in Germany began in the office. And this in times of increasing digitalization.
Anita Gödiker, Managing Director of Satellite Office, comments: “I believe that especially in the current working world, which is characterized by flexibility, mobility and working for hours on technical devices, personal contact at the workplace is very important. At our business center, the conversations with “real” people at the coffee machine or the smiles in the elevator are precisely the encounters that often carry us through the entire day. Satellite Office has seven Business & Conference Centers in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Zurich. The age structure of the 1,800 customers varies from about 25 – 65 years. So from marriage to late happiness, nothing would stand in the way of love. Younger customers can be found in the locations’ co-working spaces, while more mature customers can be found in the fireside lounges. And everything in a casual-luxurious atmosphere. This makes working even more enjoyable.
