And trust is created where substance meets attitude.

Satellite Office is expanding its Public Affairs department and welcomes Dr. Sabine Hepperle as its new contact for strategic relationships with associations, institutions and decision-makers. In this interview, she talks about the logic of networks, the mechanics of associations and why premium does not need to be explained, but should be tangible.

Interview

Satellite Office: Dr. Hepperle, welcome to Satellite Office. What should our readers know about you?
Dr. Sabine Hepperle: I was born in Stuttgart and have been in Berlin for around 25 years after working in Munich, Cologne, Tel Aviv, Windhoek and Brussels. As a political scientist, I worked for many years at the interface between politics, business and associations. This has taught me a lot, especially what it takes to be able to implement political decisions in practice – so that you shape rather than manage! Strong and reliable networks between politics and business that are characterized by competence, professionalism and trust are crucial here.

Satellite Office: What particularly appealed to you about Satellite Office?
Dr. Sabine Hepperle: Satellite Office is a successful company with high standards of quality and professionalism that was founded almost 30 years ago by Anita Gödiker. To position itself so successfully on the market with a completely new business idea – now with over 15 business centers in Germany, Switzerland and soon Italy – is a strong entrepreneurial achievement that I greatly admire! The business centers of Satellite Office stand for the highest premium quality: with professionalism, high service quality and a working environment that is characterized by style and seriousness.

I can identify very well with this overall package from Satellite Office.

Satellite Office: Public affairs sounds like politics to many people. But what is it really?
Dr. Sabine Hepperle: Public affairs is strategic relationship work. It’s about building and developing relevant networks at home and abroad, especially with associations, chambers, ministries and economic multipliers. This strengthens visibility, public perception and reputation. For companies, this means one thing above all: access. And access is often the decisive competitive advantage in the B2B environment.

Satellite Office: Why is this access particularly important for a premium company like Satellite Office?
Dr. Sabine Hepperle: Because premium brands work differently. Decision-makers make their choice based not only on facts, but also on trust, reputation and environment. A company with a strong network is perceived as a reliable and serious partner. Public affairs ensures that a company is present where relevant economic developments are taking place.

Satellite Office: What specific strategic opportunities do you see for Satellite Office?
Dr. Sabine Hepperle: Satellite Office has the potential to be perceived even more strongly as a brand for high-quality business infrastructure. This is particularly relevant for companies that are not just looking for office space, but a highly professional working environment with optimal framework conditions. Topics such as location development, economic networking, international relocation and modern working culture are an excellent fit for the Satellite Office brand.

Satellite Office: Finally: What are your first priorities at Satellite Office?
Dr. Sabine Hepperle: First of all, it’s about structure and priorities. Which networks are relevant for Satellite Office? Where do good relationships already exist, where is there new potential at home and abroad? From this, we develop a clear roadmap. Public affairs is not a sprint, but an ongoing process to further develop networks, contacts and public perception. I’m really looking forward to these exciting tasks in the Satellite Office team!

Brief profile Dr. Sabine Hepperle

Dr. Hepperle studied political science in Munich and Tel Aviv and completed her doctorate at the German Armed Forces University in Munich, combined with work abroad in Israel and Namibia.
