Satellite Office establishes employee council

20. July 2022

For dynamic, modern corporate communications and against the elf tower of work

An ivory tower is a place of wisdom, yet far removed from reality. “For the strategic direction of the company, in addition to individual consultants, we have created a number of committees that give us input on business development. In this way, we want to prevent the famous ivory tower, where it is well known that only one’s own direction counts,” says Anita Gödiker, Managing Director of Satellite Office.

The Employee Council is completely new. In the constituent meeting in mid-November, a total of eight colleagues from all locations met. The colleagues were previously elected democratically per city, the respective directors were excluded from the election. The elected council is now in office for an initial two-year term, with new elections to be held at the end of 2023. The meetings of the Employee Council are chaired personally by Anita Gödiker. So that the suggestions arrive immediately and without detours, so that she can feel and evaluate moods and ideas right away. In addition, their presence means that groundbreaking decisions can be made right on the spot. The committee’s goal is, among other things, to create modern, fresh corporate communications that all employees feel comfortable with. By having a say, they can help shape the company and bring in more dynamism and modernity.

“We will be actively shaping the future of the company from now on,” reports the new spokesman for the Employee Council, Leroy Macartney, enthusiastically. He works in Satellite Office’s central marketing department in Berlin. The members of the council are Christin Hadamek, Mohammad Hassan and Sven Bönisch from the Berlin offices, Doreen Dewitz from Hamburg, Charlaine Lemaire from Düsseldorf, Sylvie Dos Santos from Munich, Gabriella Kulcsar from Zurich and Franziska Marticke from the central commercial department.

We wish the Employee Council every success and look forward to great, innovative input that we can report on regularly!
