We opened this business center in March 2016 in the former Imperial post office in Französische Strasse. In the middle of Berlin. In the middle of Mitte. The imposing building was completed in 1912 and is situated just meters away from Friedrichstrasse and the Gendarmenmarkt.
The large business center stretches across 1,236 m² over two floors. Up to 66 permanent or temporary clients can rent space in 27 spacious offices. The business centre also has a two-storey flexible workspace area. Its fireplace creates a relaxed environment to work in. Additionally, we also have a meeting room for up to eight people and a conference room where around 20 creative minds can find inspiation.
Neo-renaissance meets neo-baroque: the Imperial main post office was designed by the privy government architect Wilhelm Walter. The post office building inspector Ludwig Meyer was in charge of its construction. The building works lasted a total of four years, from 1908-1912. The façade is made of red brick and Dorlaer shell limestone decoration. The appealing mix of neo-renaissance and neo-baroque elements is typical of the style of architecture represented in post office buildings of the Imperial era.
